| Our Bio:
Our lives together in music began in 1970, where we met in a little club in Kimswick, Missouri. We both had our own bands at the time, but after meeting, we deceided to work together as a duet team. We married in 1971, were blessed with two children, a daughter and a son, and even today, music is still very, very dear to our hearts. We both feel that if it weren't for music, its very possible that our paths may not have crossed. Our roots are very deep in traditional country music, although our shows and dances consist of a variety of music such as 50's & 60's rock-n-roll, gospel, patriotic tunes and some comedy. Gary plays the guitar and sings while Karen sings and plays a variety of percussion instruments. Our first album, "Can't Stop Dreamin'" featured the two of us along with our son, Mike. This project consisted of mostly traditional songs by such artists as Marty Robbins, Tammy Wynette, Conway Twitty and various others, including a gospel song entitled "The Farside Banks Of Jordan". Our second album entitled "You And Me", consists of sixteen songs, again, most of which are traditional country tunes with the last song being a gospel song entitled "I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You". The third album, an all gospel album entitled "Stroll Over Heaven" includes ten of the greatest gospel songs of all time, such as "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", "I Believe", "How Great Thou Art", "In the Garden" and six more great gospel tunes. Gospel music always has been and always will be very dear to our hearts. We have been blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, all of which have beautiful voices and hopefully will carry on our love for music. Karen comes from a very large, musically inclined family of six sisters and three brothers. The musical talent stems from way back in the family, with a cousin by the name of "Ferlin Husky" who was known mostly for the song "On The Wings Of A Dove" along with various other hit songs. We have so many people to thank for all of our years in the music business. We want to thank all of our friends and family for all of their support through the years, for without you all, it never would have been possible. Thanks to our kids for all the nights spent with a baby sitter so we could go and do what we so dearly loved to do. And finally last, but definetly not least, thanks to our most gracious God for the talents that we have been so graciously blessed with, and thank you Lord for the opportunity to be able to share these talents with others. Also, many thanks to a very good friend, Gene Peters (Our Web Master) for helping us with our web site. Great job, Gene
